About me

As individuals, we are part of a larger context that shapes us and to which we are connected. Systemic counseling and coaching focuses on us in our living environment: our origins and family, culture and religion, nature and society, life and work.

When we relate to these contexts, our awareness rises and our horizons expand. We become able to shape opportunities and challenges from a broader range of perspectives. We live and act from a secure center because we know who we are.

I grew up in a small Bavarian village between Baroque Catholicism and political rebellion, down-to-earth and ready to depart. I am a Catholic Theologian, Latin Americanist and Historian. I am married and have three grown-up children.

I have worked in international cooperation for many years, in development and civil peace service, in cooperation between universities, churches and with NGOs.

I live in the city and feel close to the countryside and to nature.

My passion is to create connection to people, to the world around me, to a meaningful life. Life means to be in resonance.
